Publication Magazine 332
Digital,
Printed on Tabloid,
Perfect Bound

A publication featuring four collective magazines bound together, exploring films through the lens of ‘Symbolism.’ This project highlights the often-overlooked directorial approach to conveying meaning within scenes, analyzing key moments and their deeper significance.

Fading Memories Zine
Riso Printed on 3x5 Paper,
Saddle-Stitched

A 12-page zine presenting a short narrative on fading memories and the beauty of the fading process itself.

As color and form gradually disappear, leaving only a blank state, the zine conveys that while all else fades, emotions remain—subtle yet enduring, shaping the essence of what was once there.

Aruthur Throw Product Ad
Digital Media

A series of thoughtfully designed posters created to promote an everyday product found in my surroundings. This project explores how visual communication and design can transform a familiar item into a compelling and engaging advertisement.

Modular Typeface Development

This typographic series explores perspective through the tilted silhouettes of numbers 0–9, symbolizing the need for broader viewpoints in addressing societal challenges.  The tight-knit isometric design invites viewers to reconsider how we live and connect, emphasizing that individuality and collective belonging can coexist. By shifting perception, the numbers envision a future where community are reimagined in the state of declining birth rates and increasing one-person households.

Polaroid Rebrand : Packaging
Digital Print on Cardstock, 3.5x3.5

In an era where digital photography dominates, Polaroid has struggled to redefine its identity, caught between its nostalgic past and the demands of a contemporary audience. My packaging project examines the brand’s marketing challenges—specifically, how its recent efforts to return to a retro aesthetic reflect a deeper attempt to reconnect with its origins.

Polaroid’s modern packaging, often minimalist and sleek, has distanced itself from the tactile, sentimental essence that once defined instant photography. By embracing a vintage-inspired colorway and design, my work seeks to bridge this gap, reviving the visual language that made Polaroid an icon.

Artist  Book
Papercraft, Watercolor, Pen

A symbolic representation of my life as an international student—always in flux, longing for comfort while navigating the pursuit of belonging and safety. The structure embodies both impermanence and resilience, mirroring the transient nature of home for those caught between cultures.

Atop the house rest traditional Korean han-ok shaped roof tiles, each carrying a small zine. These zines unfold visual comics inspired by a short story I wrote, chronicling the search for a place of comfort. Through this interplay of structure and narrative, the book reflects the tension between nostalgia and aspiration, displacement and hope, ultimately questioning what it means to truly find home.

TWINE - Agency Branding
Digital Media

Twine, our agency, was created as a reflection of this philosophy, embodying collaboration through its visual brand identity, event materials, and experiential packaging.

Each member of our group was assigned a unique role within the agency, reinforcing the idea that a successful creative practice is built on the strengths of its individuals. The event brochure, tickets, and logo were designed with a clean, cohesive aesthetic that communicated both professionalism and warmth. A key feature of the project was the ticket design, which doubled as a showcase of each member’s portfolio, transforming a simple entry pass into a personalized experience.
